This is, quite simply, one of the best albums I've ever been lucky enough to have the chance to listen to.

I've bought two copies of this album. I'm not sure why, perhaps because I wanted another ride.

No-one else makes music like this. Worth the price ten times over for Mermaids and Higgs Boson blues alone.
  • Highly addictive

Fantastic album as expected. ITunes can you sort the image for the album please! It's a half baked still from the interview.

Superb album from the ever reliable Mr Cave and his Badseeds. Each song stands out in its own right but its best listened to as a beautifully melancholic and atmospheric whole.Classic
  • This really is jolly good indeed

Dark, sinister, poetic, beautiful. Worth buying for the title track alone. Best album of the year so far by a country mile.
  • Really disappointed

This is poor. I'm a massive fan but this is just clever lyrics (mostly spoken not sung) over soundtrack sparse arrangements. No tunes. Nothing you can hum. For a great songwriter and great band this album is so weak. It will go onto the CD rack and stay there.
