sorry this is just awful, love Abba, like cher as well, but no, Abba songs should only be sung by Abba.
Love it! Cher has done an amazing job once again!
People Need Love
This honestly is a marriage made in heaven. When I heard this was happening, I couldn’t believe it, yet felt that it was always going to eventually result in a brilliant mash up of ABBA’s unrivalled musicality and Cher’s powerful transcendent vocals. It truly is awesome but also now prompts two questions. 1. Will Cher release dance remixes of these tracks (there are some great ones already on You Tube), a studio quality remix of SOS, Fernando, Winner Takes It All etc will truly stamp Cher’s mark on these tracks. 2. A Cher ABBA Dance album. Think what she could do with Voulez-Vous, Summer Night City, Lay All Your Love On Me, Super Trouper, Me & I, As Good As New, Head Over Heels and the one I would relish the most a dance version of Like An Angel Passing Through My Room. Go for it Cher!
Cher recorded her pub karaoke night. And autotuned it.
By Professor Pie
It’s as if she went to the pub, got drunk, and sung some ABBA songs while someone was recording it. She can do better than this.
By I 💜 mash
She’s literally a queen with everything she does
I love most of the songs on the album, especially her cover of GIMME GIMME GIMME (A Man After Midnight).
love ABBA. Love Cher but Iwas hoping for morethan the same old elcetro pop backing. The best song on there is One of Us where you can feel the emotions of the lyrics and her amazing voice shines!
Cher and ABBA - What more could you want! This is the perfect feel good album, great selection of tracks! All need now is a volume 2
Love Cher. Love ABBA but this is just terrible ☹️
One Star “Reviews”
Strange how all of the one star “reviews” to date were written before the album was released.
I was expecting to really dislike this album, but surprisingly she does most of the songs justice. Particular highlights for me are One Of Us, The Winner Takes It All & Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (aka Believe lol).
A fun album, definitely not one to be taken too seriously.
