  • Hired hand

    By fergeee
Slash the best hired hand in the business ..this should be called alter bridge feat. Slash just like the last two...go back to the first one with various front men , that was excellent Slash was on fire here he’s going through the motions...myles voice is ok for one or two songs after that it just gets annoying . I’ve never been an alter bridge fan ...sorry tried to like

  • Wicked

Modern rock with some catchy riffs and solo parts, step forward in his style with Myles and look forward to the next one
  • Great album

Brilliant, melodic, hard rock. This is what is missing in today’s music.
  • Love it !!

What a great Album, I just can't get enough of these guys
  • Buy the numbers effort, a solid 3. Better off buying his last two albums.

    1) *It is beyond me how anyone can give an album 5 stars from only listening to one track* 2) Since leaving GN’FR Slash has had many collaborations but failed to ignite the same spark across an entire album. That is until he teamed up with Myles Kennedy. The Slash album, (Kennedy’s first collaboration with Slash) had some great artists on board (& cracking songs) but missed solos which seemed odd since Slash’s bread & butter is playing the guitar. Apocalyptic Love & World on Fire nailed the formula, unfortunately Living the Dream doesn’t quite meet up to its predecessors. It’s not a bad album but it’s a band that have become to comfortable with each other & probably over stretched them selfs,(we shouldn’t forget this is a fun side project for them). In places it sounds a little disjointed & the odd solo sounds more like an after-thought rather than flowing through the song. It takes a few listens to key into the tunes & grows on the listener over time, the lyrics & riffs are great but lack that USP. For me I still go back to his last two albums, which is a real shame with all the potential on offer. 3) A solid 3.

Essentially a rehash of the last two (excellent) albums. A shame!

No wonder people go back to the classics. The tracks on this album have zero hooks and all sound the same. Stick with Axl.

Not in a long time have I played an album by just listening to clips and loved every song, packs a punch with very catchy vocals and guitar riffs! Highly recommended fo any rock fan!
