It was an amazing time when it suddenly burst on to the underground scene in the early 90s. However, before Trance there were Steve Lawler...illegal raves under the M42. The dance scene has changed since early pioneers Andrew Weatherall, Terry Farley, Jeremy Healy, Danny Rampling and Graeme Park were rocking dance floors up and down the UK and on the continent. but to release this now is questionable, anybody who is worth their salt has these tunes will have them on vinyl and maybe off the front of a well-known music magazine; Mixmag aimed at DJs and clubbers alike. To do this is to sell out to a marketplace and demographic who wishes they were there.
