Really is Ministry of Sound running out of ideas now I mean really..!! What happened to M.O.S Big Beat or Indie Dance anthems few years ago are them types of releases in the past now too much new music that's just more knock off deep house/ garage it's like just utter disrespect for the past music and un-willingness to find something old or new that's interesting

Pretty decent album with some current stuff and good remixes of older dance songs. But to much ‘grime’ music but still a good album overall

Why are some albums on Apple Music and others aren’t? Thought the whole point of being with Apple Music is you don’t have to buy stuff as you are paying for it already????
  • Love island?

Personally I think it’s a good compilation of upbeat music. It can’t be compared to music from previous decades because EDM and dance music have simply changed over time, as music always does because it’s an artform and thus goes through a process; it doesn’t stay the same. I think reviews have been putting far too much emphasis on the ‘Love Island’ aspect of the title. It doesn’t affect the songs included, which you either like or you don’t, and is merely an attempt to engage with MoS’s current audience, which it needs to do in order to sell. I feel bad for MoS because when they put out good compilations they’re accused of recycling the same old songs and when they put out newer music they get attacked for the quality. In a streaming world where anyone can make a playlist they just can’t win. Even if you don’t like this album, you have to recognise it as an attempt at survival because no one buys CDs anymore. Everyone streams or buys records. Even iTunes itself is becoming a thing of the past. If you like MoS and want it to keep going, you’re going to have to overlook some albums you don’t like.
