  • Miley Gaga and Florence

    By Amjslj117
In my opinion everyone bar the above ladies were all no better than average! Gaga and Florence are very, very good but the standout is Miley Cyrus! Proof,if needed she is probably the best cover artist there is. Should you disagree ask yourself why she is the only artist to appear on both Revamp and Restoration!

Listen to Cissy Houstons version (Whitneys mom) of Your Song you'll see how bad GaGadawfuls version is. My ears bled listening to the rest of this album. Shame on you Elton because I saw you in concert in the 70s and you were brilliant. You're a fat old Queen now, get over it. You're not young anymore.
  • Not Great

Firstly this is not a critique of the singers. The only songs I found tolerable were Ed Sheeran’s Candle in the Wind and Sam Smith’s Daniel. All the rest were so awful I deleted. Music is subjective and so not everyone will agree with me, but, my advice is listen to each track before buying the album.

I think this album is great. It’s not a replacement! But I enjoy listening to the revamped and originals side by side. I think it helps the younger generations like me to get into Elton John. Don’t understand why everyone is giving so much hate. It’s just a little bit of fun. Calm yourselves!
  • Disappointing.. verging on atrocious

    By Karibu
As a long tine Elton John fan, as well as having an electic taste in music, I approached this album openly and a willingess to be moved. I am sad to say, this collection is really a disappointment. There are no standout performances. And there are some, such as MJB, The Killers. Pink, which are atrocious. I really question some these artists ability to convey meaning and soul of the songs they selected. I can not see myself playing this album more than the 3 ocassions I have taken, before writing this review. One that will be confined to my library. This in in contrast with "Two Rooms" that came out in 1991, which still gets the odd airing. Restoration, the companion country album to Revamp , is much better.
  • Excellent.

Can’t understand why people leave bad reviews, we all have likes and dislikes, if you don’t like it don’t buy it, simple.
  • Gaga

Gagas version of Your Song is the stand out of the album by far.
