Told you so
This is just bland nonsense yer luck ran out son
Some Fab Songs
Look a couple of filler tracks here but some absolute stockers as well. Great effort. Great album. Good lyrics as well. The more you here it the better it sounds. Good job. Well done.
Dad Dancing at your wedding
By Funky Jack
The musical equivalent of Dad dancing.
I love Noel, but I’ve always wondered what could have happened if, from Be Here Now until today, he had someone close enough and strong enough to tell him ‘no’.
Two, maybe three passable tracks, but unfortunately some of it is cringe-inducing and feels forced. It reminds me of when U2 lost their way trying to find a new identity after Joshua Tree and middle age doubts crept into their psyche.
All I’d like to hear now is some good songs played on an acoustic guitar with a basic band setup and a stripped back sound. No more hiding a great artist behind the production.
Too much filler, not enough killer!
There’s a couple of quality singles on here but the rest is just pointless filler. It’s not an albums worth of music.
Another biblical album to be loved for years to come
What a great album by Noel! Yes it’s different but it only takes a few listens to fall in love with it! Already buzzing for his 4th solo album to come out in the near future (hopefully!)
Who bought the album?
The best track is Black and White Sunshine in my opinion. Holy Mountain is just grim. The rest is completely forgettable. Sorry Noel but this is the worst record you’ve made.
A Different Noel
By Scotty 1973
It’s a grower but once you get it, it’s his finest solo record to date. Quality
Now we know...
With the somewhat average tracks put together on Chasing Yesterday, Gallagher fires back and proves age is truly just a number. At 50 years old, the true Gallagher brother has shown he has not only a lot more to go in terms of songwriting and singing, but has some soon-to-be classic tunes. What a piece of art.
Man who built the moon
Wasn’t that keen when it was released but after seeing most played live it’s actually a good album
